busy with report writing!
and the ICSID Exhibition 2009, in which my company is co-organising and exhibiting in.
the main concept of the exhibition is about collecting dreams, so we invited our guests at the booth to share their dreams with us. they wrote down their dreams on a speech bubble that we provided and took a picture with their dreams.
you can find out more about our exhibition at www.orcadesign.net/makedreams
for you guys who tweet, why don't you join us in this collective dreaming? on twitter, tweet your dreams and just add #makedreams and *voila*
may your dreams come true!

meet ashley and mary-kate:

This champagne + orange juice drink is named after the olsen twins from tinseltown. And to prove that it's really the twins they are talking about, the drink comes in a pair! The presentation of the drink is quite unique: a shot glass of orange juice inside each flute glass of chardonnay. When you tilt the glass to drink it, the concoction of juice and champagne will then fuse together. mmmm, it was quite yummy. fruity bubbly. from House/Barracks, at Dempsey's.
concept/ambience: ++++
food/drinks: +++
service: --------
nice interiors, nice furnishing. food as above average. but the service really killed it all. to quote my friend, "i will never go back again". if the mgt is not going to pick their service staff carefully, or even bother to provide some additional coaching on basic service etiquette, the place might not be able to survive the competition at dempsey's.

i watched the national day parade live
for the first time in my life. my mom entered my name to the channel 8 morning program 'zao an ni hao' ndp ticket lucky draw and i was lucky enough to win a pair of tickets. since my parents had already gone for an earlier preview, i went together with my brother. i must say he behaved really well (hah, as if he's still a kid), but it has been some time since we enjoyed each other's company. it was a really good show, except that the crowd control is really tight, and we spent alot of time to get in and get out. Here are some of the highlights of the show:
