hello there

decided to sneak in a post while waiting for my cake to cool down after taking it out from the oven. at 3am. this cake business thing is driving me crazy. but it's alright 'cos baking to meet a (order) deadline is really better than sketching/CAD-ing/writing to meet a deadline. seriously, even the washing-up part seems therapeutic. :)

the business has been rather successful, considering we have a regular stream of orders coming in, although we don't really have a brand yet, thanks to our friends and colleagues. you can check out our progress and portfolio here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/39534048@N02/ however, the accounting is just totally madness. I could still keep up with it when I was not working. but now that both of us are holding full time job, we don't really have time to calculate our P&Ls. I can only say we are making money, but i'm not sure how much and this is not considering our time/effort yet.

speaking of my current full time job, I have, since my last blog entry,moved on to a new workplace. my commuting time is now triple of that for my last job and i've been looking for new ways to spice up my journey. the new phone (HTC Touch Diamond 2) has been a great companion so far and I'm still exploring new uses for the phone and I'm still liking it!
