introducing, the MacBook Air, world's thinnest notebook.

slim, lightweight, digital, wireless connectivity, eco-friendly
interestingly, it has excluded some of the features that consumers would have look for in a laptop: CD/DVD-rom, multi-USB ports (there's only 1!)but my gut feeling is that consumers will look beyond this and learn to live with it (because it's an apple, duh)and thus change the definition of laptops (like what apple did to portable music players).
of course, it does have answers to the lack of the above-mentioned. it works on the basis of wireless connectivity with other gadgets as it is WIFI and Bluetooth enabled. and steve jobs asks, why do you still need DVDs when you can rent movies from iTunes now (albeit in certain countries only). one can only envy the relationship apple enjoys with the content providers.
Is this the future of mobile entertainment?
will this be the gadget for work on-the-go?
How much more thinner can it go?
