muscle fatigue

from today's workout at the macritchie. I shan't even call it training. Because I wasn't there with the mentality to train, and the mileage clocked aren't enough to be called training!

had a jog in the reserve before hitting the water. this is my first time canoeing in a reservoir! (although it's been quite a few years since the canoeists have shifted base over there) anyway it's also the first time in 6 yrs since i rowed in a single kayak - a craft that requires some balancing, think: bicycle.

it was S-C-A-R-Y. i forgot how to launch. thought i was never going to leave the plontoon. but i guess some things you just can't forget. like how you will never forget how to ride a bicycle, i managed to start rowing. Of course, not without some encouragement/persuasion from the teammates. i'm really a hum-chee, i admit.

was a slow 4km mileage in 40 minutes, but i did it without capsizing! YES! had to keep myself so focused that i was actually more mentally-tired than physically-tired.

i really love to torture myself.
