can you see wat's wrong with the steamboat below?

5 girls gathered for steamboat with a borrowed steamboat set. we had some problem setting up the gas cannister and then when we finally lit the fire, we see smoke and there's even a bad chao-da smell. later we realised the pot was sitting right on the fire - that could have been the pot being burnt directly! hmmm...but the set didnt come with the grille (strangely). still, we had to do something. so... we substitute it with the grille from the stove!

so smart right?! we thought so too! hah.. we may not be domestically-inclined, but we definitely don't lack the survival skills. ahh.. so proud of ourselves!
