I first got hooked on the races during the days of Turin, where I watched the races with my Spanish friends. They were the ones who explained to me the races, the drivers, especially Alonso, their fellow Barcelonian (is this how you describe people from Barcelona?). But while they were cheering Alonso's victory last year, secretly I felt very sorry for Schumi because he had lost his Crown he had won 7 times before, somemore he only barely made it to the podium this year.
So, this year, I decided to root for him! He had a shaky performance, but I'm really glad to see Schumacher fight his way back to the top of the standings. 2 more races to go before we know if he gets to retire with the title. I hope Ferrari gets the Constructor's award too, cos for me, the F in F1 has always stood for Ferrari.
p/s. RY.. did u manage to catch a glimpse of the cars/drivers in Shanghai??
