how exciting!
20 mins into the game and ARSEnal's german goalkeeper is sent off with a red card for pulling somebody's leg! his substitute goalkeeper looked really nervous when he had to take over. he seemed un-warmed up man. and now its a ten man team on arsenal's side. poor pires had to be sacrifaced.
barca's ronaldhino kept missing the shots. urgh. he's like always kena tackled. poor thing...
and the referee had given out a few cards too.
this is also the first time i see the field being filmed from the top! it's quite a new perspective but the angle to the human eye is so impossible to reach such that it feels very fake. abit like CGI.
30 mins now. the sub keeper is doing quite a good job. but it will a real shame on barcelona if they can't win a ten man team.
we shall see...

hmmm last year's champs league final i was in turin, watching the game with my friends in one of the apartment. the whole block was watching too. it was AC milan vs liverpool. i think the whole italia was watching too. i can still remember how lucky liverpool was. like arsenal today. blehz. but the guys were very happy milan lost. because our landlord whom we were all very much agst was a milanese. and they wanted him to hear them cheer when he came back from watching the game outside in some pub.
blahh blahh blahh.. sorry it's one of those memories again. seriously it's shiok to live in europe where you don't have to sacriface sleep to watch soccer. serie A was the dinner time tv to watch, but i had no contact with english soccer except the occassional readup on the internet. and and and the winning soccer team will actually tour the city centre on their open-decked double decker bus. the whole city swarms to the city and moves along with the bus. how funny it is to imagine the same scenario in Singapore, like, the winning S-league team cruising along Orchard Rd on the Hippo bus? soccer, is definately not in our culture yet.
