long time no blog, so now blog-alot!

hey today is tues and i'm blogging! yeah, because i've decided that reading ALL the blogs in one go on fridays is too exhaustive. rather, i'll adopt another strategy, ie. to read a few on certain days. another reason is because, blogging has become boring after i set a day specific to blog. in the i get a block. oh well, i have more self-discipline now. as i go nearer and nearer to the end of my uni life. for my crit today, i made myself not play any computer games for the past week. and i didnt! i feel so much more productive! i hope i can continue in this motivating spirit, till the end of it all, and get what i want to achieve ultimately.

so after crit today we went to watch munich. aww.. it was the worst movie experience ever. it was neither the cinema nor the film, but the person sitting beside me had the strangest BO and he kept letting out awful gas. half the time i was using my hands to cover my nose. and it lasted almost 3 hours! was very OFF...

the movie was quite gruesome as well so for some scenes i was covering my face for some time as well. very stressful to watch but nevertheless a great film. it was a movie that used real-life events(terrorist attacks) to document terrorism. it felt like a documentary where they showed different perspectives of terrorism and how politics can be involved. it's inevitably violent, to let the audience feel the impact of the fighting and even in scenes where there's no blood shed, there's so much tension. there are many issues being put forward through this movie.. like whether it's worth to take so many innocent people's lives, whether it's about your faith or your land, the vicious cycle of revenge, if there's a mastermind behind all these activities ... but ultimately, there's no way you can decide whether acts of terrorism is right or wrong. at the end, the film shows that the palestinians (terrorists)were ready to let their israelis athletes (hostages) go when they could escape but then the german police opened fire at them and that was what made them take the israelis' lives with them. could the israeli govt have known this? or was munich just another excuse for them to take revenge on the palestinians?

errr.. sorry if tt bored u. i couldnt help but do a review. just because ... "If Spielberg's 'Munich' doesn't tug at your chest at the end, I would question your humanity. Spielberg doesn't butter this up so it goes down easier, he aims straight for the gut with his razor sharp realism and rubs salt in the wound. 'Munich' isn't a fun film, but there is no question it is a riveting and nearly flawless one. You will have a lot to talk about after the film has ended. With 'Munich', Steven Spielberg gives us one hell of a history lesson." (from the imdb site)

one of the sweeter part of the show...
Daphna(eric bana's wife): We should stay at home.
Avner(eric bana): You are the only home I ever had.
Daphna: [Laughs] This is so corny
Avner: What? That took a lot for me to say!

woot.. it's now wednesday! champion's league! rooting for barca and juve! how bout u?
