PICO visit

the visit to PICO today was really enjoyable.

ok btw, PICO is a company tt does events, exhibition, permanent exhibits..and the building is at kallang, very near kallang basin..

i think the reason why it was enjoyable is because of the atmosphere, the image of the place.. which is really quite different from Kingsmen, the other exhibition design company we visited two wks ago.

first of all, the image of the co. is that it's really warm, and friendly. as opposed to the cold, corporate, everything-got-to-be-perfect kind of feeling. the design director was funny, real.. and he can really read our minds! he actually said tt he thinks tt those who try to dress themselves up most prob arent good in designing, cos all they think bout is themselves! woah..

then he brought us to the studio.. and woah the people there didnt look as intimidating as the philips team.. the layout was open.. and there was also a discussion table at the center (like our studio) and couches ...

somehow at this pt of time when i'm feeling uncertain of my concepts, he somehow enlightened me again. JUST DO IT!
