the 3 mths of holidays are finally over.
i have:
- worked my hearts out at sizzler, the tuition place, commencement ceremony and occassionally, picture me events
- made some great new friends (from work)
- celebrated my birthday
- celebrated alot of friends' birthdays
- spent 1 wk in the CDC for dengue fever and recovered from it
- played alot of mahjong
- made frequent trips to the ktv
- reformat my laptop
- saved some money
- trained and rowed at SDBF and won the mixed open gold (!)
- went for most canoe polo trainings
- went to allergy clinic and undergoing treatment for rhinitis
- ...
looking at the list, i realised that i have not gone on any trips (for the first time after my As). but i did played hard. for one period of time, i was juggling 3 jobs at 1 time, and i still had time for training, mambo, overnight mahjong.. though i didn't go overseas, this is the probably one of the more memorable holiday as i went through the most horrible experience in the CDC (Communicable Disease Centre) and also the happiest celebrating my 21st birthday and winning the mixed open gold.
the long 3 months had worn me out. looking at the new timetable, and the structure of our lessons for the next semester, i feel lost. it's going to be a tough sem ahead. but i'm thinking positive. nothing's gonna bring me down ok?
and i should be changing my exchange location to china instead. this option was suddenly offered and most snrs have positive comments bout what they learnt over there. rather serendipitously, i chanced upon this article online about design in china. yeah so... no more europe. china instead for the time being.
tmr, NATIONAL DAY! no hype here in singapore.. where're the flags man? everybody's waiting for somebody to hang their flags? well here's a guilty singaporean. my father was reminding me how enthu my brother and i used to be about hanging the flags. well.. and i've stopped watching ndp parades since dunno when. i'm not watching it tmr either. cos of work.. sighs. sad not cos of missing the parade, but rather, singapore idol. i've been looking forward to it . and i've to miss the debut. shall ask my parents to tape it.
GRAB whatever's left of the hols!
