played mahjong at ry's place w the usual kakis last nite. as usual, me and xueying kept winning, really won until i felt bad winning my frens' money. poor ry.. din win at all. but it's ok la... qing chang de yi rite?? heh..
anw slept at 530 am.. had to practically drag myself to school for the commencement at 830 am. the previous nite's winnings became my cabfare. had new 'entertainment' backstage : buffing our nails! weeyin brought her emery board and we gals went buffing away.. my first time! quite happy w the results too. naturally shiny nails!
wanted to talk abt this since quite some time ago,
i really like this olympics ad on channel 5 and tv mobile. the one on focusing just before the race/ comeptition starts. esp the part marion jone's expression changed from totally focused to extreme joy. inspirational
it's a shame that the american athletes are scandalised by the doping incidents. will you stoop at nothing to win an olympic medal? thinking back, i relate it to our days in nj, when our team (esp the guys) tried almost everything in GNC to supplement our training. there was so much drive and enthusiasm to improve our timing, our performance. tsk tsk nostalgic..
i haf seen so much joy lately in the UCC. so many happy faces. and all the friends and family members taking pictures here and there. my fren was asking me who i will invite to come to my commencement. definately my family. but how many frens will be free to come share the occasion w me? some will have already graduated, started working, blah blah.. somemore if my ceremony is during some off hour, like the 10am or 3pm one.. how?
would YOU come? haha if you come, you muz buy the graduation bear for me! it's really cute!
