how's new year so far?

the first day was typical, except for the drinking w my cousins bit, it's like they suddenly realised i could actually drink! heh..

the 2nd day was different. cos xy n ry came my hse before hitting zouk. ry was wearing her new black halter cocktail dress so i tot we shld really go along w her and wear nice nice.. but den i'm the type who's easily the most casually dressed girl in a pub and to put effort into dressing up really wrecked my brains. so the outfit that i initially chose din pass the screening test of the expert xy. and i left it all to her to choose one for me. we rushed down in ry's car, trying to make it by 9 so that we dun haf to pay extra 8 bucks. i felt damn overdressed! it was freaking early and it was raining which really dampened our spirits. we left soon after del joined us, didnt even ordered alcohol cos we had to drink juice to soothe our throats which we used to scream above the music. wanted to check out the clubs at MS, but the rain made it quite inconvenient for us to go. so we went for supper! yay! bah kut teh was closed so we went to newton circus! yummilicious food there.. we ate char kuay teow, lala, stingray, carrot cake and took away chicken wings. worth every cent! went to ry's place for a mahjong/drinking session. COFFEE LIQUOR IS GOOD! i think i'll buy that the next time i go DFS. she has bombay saphire too! so PRETTY! (although the drink does look quite like copper sulphate solution). mahjong session was good too. i was the biggest winner! true to the chinese saying that meant u win most in gambling when you are a loser in the love arena.

the third day was pretty fun too. rushed home from ruoying hse to prepare for the gathering i'm hosting later. i invited some of the 4f ppl and my id classmates, thinking they will be able to mix ard as they had common interests - cards and karaoke. made guo tie, something like the jap's gyoza, my mom's specialty. i managed to be able to wrap some decent looking ones by myself, and i actually enjoyed making them! felt very proud when my mom praised me for making presentable ones :) cos last time either my gyoza's fillings will drop out, or my gyoza-s will look out of shape. went to yuting's place to join the other 4f ppl- siwei, meiwen, yingzhi, lishan. lost money when we played 'in between', this brainless game that depended entirely on luck and guts. brought them to my hse after that, promptly joined by the ID gang and kailing. there were lotsa food and drinks! think the party was quite successful but sadly the 2 grps of ppl din manage to mix ard much. hah..was thinking of getting sai a match, but too bad .. and it continued to rain on, even til now. i was drenched abit and it made my nose running now. ruoying, i'm wearing the PJs you gave me now! i needed warm clothing to sleep in, so urs made a perfect choice! made me warm and comfy now ;)

this cny experience further convinced me i'm more a drinker than a chiongster. i'll pick drinking anywhere, anytime over dancing, which prob is making me fat. and i really like to be a hostess. i like ppl to come to my house. so the best thing to do is to invite ppl to my house to drink! haha..

the next time i travel abroad, i'm gng to buy these at the DFS: barcadi, vodka, bombay sapphire, more baileys, coffee liquor.

and i'm prob gng to buy more karaoke vcds too.. so everybody can come to my place to sing! lalala~
