carrot cake!

after i placed my takeaway order at the carrot cake stall at the 'duck side' coffee shop last nite, i had a surprise when i saw the young son (he looks like a sec one kid)starting to fry the carrot cake. at first i was like 'huh? wat;s the boy doing w my dinner?" i realised that the uncle wasnt ard.. and the auntie was trying to guide him along... i tried to be as un-skeptical as i can be, maybe he's some 'miao4 shou3 xiao3 chu2 shi1'.. and the carrot cake from tt stall is usually sedap! so... prob the uncle passed on some good skills to his son..

it's either my own illusion, or prob because they noticed me looking at them, the auntie seemed to haf given me a bigger serving..i dunno, hah..the boy looked abit embarrassed also when he passed me the parcel of carrot cake..well i tried to smile encouragingly to him la, afterall it's not easy to cook, esp at such a big stove and w such a big pan! and so young!

and the food? heh... dunno if it's because i'm hungry anot, but it turned out to be good! yumz!
